Do you use the Scanline renderer to bake your normals? If so, I'd suggest making sure you have the correct renderer set up. If TexTools switches to Mental ray and you're trying to rebake you have to change back to the Scanline. Hope that helps.
fixed issue (I think so) with RTT not working anymore after you used either the AO or some of the map render types from TexTools.
