Comparing to hipoly, normals came out pretty bad, but thats problem of blender, ..it bakes terible normal maps....about polycount...for classicall game art I would go for 100-150 tris at max....best would be around 60 tris Alsour edges are way too tight for game art
I've spent $60 on full retail games that were 1/10th the fun of this alpha build. It's extremely rare when I can be playing a game and 7hrs vaporize, feeling like 2hrs tops. Minecraft was one of the other rare games to do that for me. It'll keep getting better, too. ;D
The lighting setup and material still aren't very flattering. And it's making it hard to properly judge your model. I'd either use marmoset or get rid of the lighting and just use the default max viewport lighting and a dark material with like 60-70spec and 10-20 gloss. I.e. this http://i.imgur.com/eAtyvKL.jpg
It's perfectly fine if you know what you look for, as it stands now after reviews AND taking the time to investigate the game myself I have to say that it would be a bad way to spend $60. People became frustrated because it wasn't too far from the truth even having been disputed as "impossible".

It's good that you brought this up Jackablade. As far as I understand, powdered ceramics have become the best source material for being food safe.. However, they need a kiln & possible glazing touch to finish the product. The mugs I've seen 3d printed, using this method, price up in around the $60 mark.

There is also a maya conversion script to convert a poly/mesh with textures to a Voxel object
never had an issue with the load times, my favorite 360 game hands down, then again, 360 games cost $60 in the US (about £32) I haven't played it in a few days because I've failed the main mission but I'm going to jump back in and kill psychopaths and work on the cult mission.
