i dont know, gnomon is rather expensive for what the dvds offer. if you want to become an expert maya user you are probably going to have to shell out 500 bucks or more. i suggest www.3dbuzz.com. they have a crapton of FREE maya fundamentals video training modules. taught me everything i needed to know about the interface… -

I had a similar problem when my old PSU croaked on me. I was using a ULTRA PSU, the one with the 'quick' install cables. It's a P.O.S, don't buy it. I went with a compUSA brand instead, 500w - works flawlessly. -

Daz I would imagine that image was released by Crytec just by the way it is set up ? Just from what I can see it seems to have an ordinary bump ( none-normal ) map laying on top of the base mesh . I see no added details beyond what I can see from the base mesh ? Though it does seems to have a regular bump map for making… -

Hey Chris, You ought to try taking your hipoly as it is, then merge it instead of submerging each subdivided brick into the core mesh. So that its all a solid connected mesh or as near as. Then you can take it into Zbrush, still rely on the symmetry modifier in there so you can retain some texture optmization later when…
