Right now the texture just seems to mush together. Play with the saturation and brightness of the different areas a bit and it'll pop a lot more. I know you said you just started, but for a more stylized form like that more dramatic shades really bring it to life.
Not bad, decently stylized. Id say the cheeks need to be more full and puffy, and the eyelids and eyes need to be more sphereical. Everything looks good here for the most part except what i've pointed out, which makes the eyes and cheeks look like they're melting.
Love it, one of the best works I've seen The only minor issue im having with it is that while the big clumps of fur are very nicely done, they have a heavy stylized look that clashes with the rest of the model which has very realistic material definition. again super minor.
he currently feels like an odd mix of realistic and exagerated proportions. His head, and feet are pretty big, but his arms and hands aren't. If you're going for stylized, I'd push the hands bigger. If you're not, I'd shrink the feet some, and maybe try a smaller helmet.

I'd strongly suggest to make a realistic head model and texture first. Just find am actual person and capture their essence in lowpoly. To make a good stylized character is very hard, and you need a solid understanding of realism before you can pull it off convincingly.
