fade1 You can also half a normal map too. http://www.3dcolor.ru/game_art/big/64.jpg It looks more specific. In Maya the solution is http://download.autodesk.com/global/docs/maya2012/en_us/files/Asts_Creating_and_using_mirrored_normal_maps_on_a_character_or_object.htm But I'm sure in 3ds it can also be done .
This thing about constant rain is a total myth. The rainy places are in the north-west, most other places its more often nice than it is cold and wet. Except last year of course, last year was *shit. Its all that global warming lying about the place.
Would be nice if you added a bunch more trees to the far left and right (circled in red), to give it that dense forest feel. I also think you could reduce global illumination to darken the shadows slightly.
Pokemon MMO (All Gens); with events and tournaments to become an actual champion. SimWorld; Like SimCity but on a global scale. Almost like being President or Prime Minister and doing anything you want, good or bad :O
If you want those button to be able to call with its own hotkey, you can put the function into a 'struct' and defined it as global variable. Then you can call them within a macroscript like @zachagreg mentioned above.

Thanks guys :) I'm calling the scene done now. Here are the final shots. I'm moving on to the monthly hand-painted challenge. Critics are still welcome and I might address them later with a more global view.
In their opening weekend they were high in the global sales charts (behind Bf1942 and it's expansion, and The Sims). I don't think they flopped; recently Homeworld had its 10th anniversary and has sold 500,000 units to date, as an example.
Very nice! :) powerful brush edition and color selection tool intuitive shortcut creation and good global performances Nice ideas into the Wiki too I'd love to see this one growing up in the right way :D
