I think you might be looking for the clamp function, it lets you specifiy a min/max value, and if your variable is outside of that range when you use the function, it gets cut off to the min or max value. Saves you some lines of code, too :) http://docs.unity3d.com/ScriptReference/Mathf.Clamp.html
So from your image can you not press that key combination and launch the LOD window? What functionality are you looking for otherwise? Edit: If you're trying to get those bm1, bm2, etc. to be their own keys that is different functionality that is beyond my scope unfortunately.
Thank you ! MOI (Moment Of Inspiration) is a CAD modeling application, with advanced boolean functions, very very user friendly, with a top polygon export function (n-gons, tris, quads/tris, amount of polys).MOI's father is also RHINO's one. MOI: http://moi3d.com
It’s possible within 3ds Max, but Marvelous Designer is going to be easier. Dedicated tools are often better at specific tasks. Check out TyFlow plugin for Max, it can do some amazing things. Free version has all functionality, though if you buy you get massive GPU speed up. Some experiments I shared awhile…
@renderhjs Fantastic new additions, as usual! Would you consider enabling the Checker Map function to function in the 3D Viewport as well, so I can call it from a pie menu? If I add it (using Pie Menu Editor, which is incredible), it's grayed out. Any idea how to work around this?
Here is how I calculate my dodge + camera shake. Here is my calculating my dodge direction: Applying dodge to launch and my custom camera shake function: here is my custom camera shake function To make a camera shake asset create a blueprint with the parent class camera shake.
i would not worry about that - it's just an oldschool uv app - some standalone blender pelt mapping functionality wrapped into a simple interface from a time when other 3D apps did not have that kind of functionality. the upside is simplicity, main reason to use it nowadays is probably habit. i know it is for me. :)
I want to say that I was able to assign "connect" as a shortcut key in max 6.5 and it work for vertex, edge, and poly mode (Note: it might have been a meshtools function). In Max 9 I can't seam to assign one shortcut for functionality with all three modes. Any ideas? This is driving me nuts. - BoBo
I'm hyped, I liked the sword and the droid. Nothing is really functional in the star wars universe its all form over function. The sword looks great. I'm more concerned about how is he going to fight with it and is he going to chop some trees down.
I'd put in an omni light with a light function on it that has a panner. Although the animated spotlight would probably give a similar effect. The big advantage of doing it in matinee is that you can synch it up with other elements. Like an animation on the light. But the light function would be more portable.
