I concur with the 500 series recommendations been running the gtx 560 for the past several months and its done very well in 3d max and after effects and photo shop. and the cost was just 190, altough you can find the 570 for like 60-80 bucks and get about 5-10 percent better clock speed also the IRAY system in 3d max work… -

i had a huion gt 190 w (an old one now) it was an "ok" display. It kind of sucked that the pen has to be rechared. The angle in which the color seems correct was so narrow, when i slightly tilted the head the colors looked complete wrong! If you go with the 2,718 tri lod you could probably round out the gauges, bottle and tank a bit and still come in under 3k? Especially if you delete the unseen tris. You could probably push it up to 5k or hell even leave it, 8k -unseen isn't going to be that expensive really. And as if we haven't beaten this dead horse… -
