mmmm.. A nice way to get Bronze, is a very dark reddish/brown diffuse, with a copper/yellow-ish spec. Seems like a lot of the grout and surface materials aren't really matching up IMHO. I really think the flatter/exposed areas should be cleaner, while the recessed areas are the parts that should accumulate the grout.… -

I can animate... with a pencil and many sheets of paper...and/or toonboom studio.... I didn't much enjoy digital as much as traditional, but it was on my list of things to learn. did you used a AO pass- because of those noisy grain propably because max rendered just 4bit instead of 8bit (256 levels) of grey (its just the way 3dsmax fails often at AO passes). Another quick dog drawing. It was interesting to see how flash photography increases the degree of difficulty (fur really begs for light direction). Also the affect that humidity has on paper was disconcerting to adjust to, different graphite weights felt very different from one session to the next. I'll call it 90% done.…
