Polygon can be a misleading term when you're trying to size up a model. One polygon can have 3 verts, one polygon can have 4 verts, one polygon can have 59371 verts. Splitting a quad into two triangles wouldn't do anything on it's own to change the vertex count, so while it sounds like there are twice as many polygons, the… -

So whatever items you can batch together, those can be as low LOD as you want. As in my grass example, you have 2 triangles per grass blade. What you dont want to do is say, "well this is dumb 2 triangles when it could draw 598 more for free and I would have the same framerate". Instead try and batch those small objects… -

I see this as a sorta silly thing to say. There are are plenty of ways to predict things/story elements which will are more likely to impact someone. If you can't guess that a story about a man bonding to a girl, the age his daughter was when she died, has more opportunity for impact than say, a psychopath with a gun takes… -
