REQUESTING MORE PANDA PICS PLZ the textured version is a knockout, though i'm a little sad that you didn't keep with that little facial shield thing you had going earlier. but let's see that panda!
YAY progress - without weapon and shield [ame=" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3_ty05oTWNs"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3_ty05oTWNs[/ame] with: [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R6NXDmjZ_fo"]Dota 2 DragonKnight Character skinned and rigged - YouTube[/ame]
I've been feeling the same way about that, too. Maybe it could use some sort of exhaust pipe heat shield. But I do like the long clean lines it makes. Also if there was a foot hold to use to help step up into the seat.
Take a look at the model of the Hylian Shield from Twilight Princess. The Triforce bracket and Triforce itself are modeled, but if you delete the geometry, the texture is the same. It leads me to believe that they made low poly stuff first, and then went back and added bits of detail.
I realy like your lay out and design, One thing that might help is the polycounts on the models, unless im blind and dont see them.. I realy love your nuclear dawn soldier and that undead warrior with a shield, those are cool..
Sword and shield on the Mery rig! I was inspired by Leona in the latest cinematic, A New Dawn, and how she bulldozed through the log in her path. Here's a first pass at blocking (framerate dropped in gif conversion *cries*):
If we are going for Props I would like those weapons and shields that arrixle has done (taken from the 2D Concept Bank): His environment concept is very cool too, but I would prefer the Props.
nah. lunas style isnt very *runy* if u look at the shield u will see its more some kind of minimalistic ornament - lines on background. this style might be anyways more ur friend :) compared to runes^^
that's shield is really nice for your first concept art! I kinda feel like it needs to be part of a set, like maybe it wouldn't fit with the default items... I don't know, it looks really good though!
I really like what i'm seeing ^^ I myself modelled a Flak88 (but with the version with a shield) during my school time and i think your proportions are well done! (way better than mine :D )
