Hey @Jerc the obj download has some pretty broken face groups as viewed in Maya. e: seems to bake in SP just fine, I just went about my usual mesh-checking habits before doing it.
I'm going with pea on this one, I personally like c best. The small head gives him a very interesting look, lots of character as was said before. Oh, are you gonna make that sweet staff he is weilding(sp?)?
i won´t buy gow2 if it´s like the first.. i like the first but its more like a fun-lan-coop shooter than a serious sp game.. i want some kind of gow mixed with halflife1

I'm using SP 1.7.3 at the moment. Can I bake an alpha. For example, say I want to bake a chain link fence Hi Poly to a Low Poly flat plane. I'd want the holes in the fence to be alpha'd out... Is this possible?
Cheers, but it's not my script. Got it from someone here on PC a while back. Can't remember who though. SP paint is great, but it's better suited to random scatter in organic environments. Well worth checking out though.
I can't be too specific unfortunately but at this point, pretty much every AAA studio has either a bunch of SD/SP licenses or at least a will to evaluate. Publisher wise, the biggest Substance users are Sony, Activision, Ubisoft and Capcom.
Unfortunately it's not as simple as it sounds and having a special case for this specific hardware requires too much rework to be worth the effort. That being said, we are always working on improving the memory footprint of SP, so it will hopefully be less of a problem in the future.
I am only at a basic level in SD but I'm sure this is very possible, as all Substances in Designer can be built and exported to Painter with the important parameters exposed. I also think this would be a very useful feature in SP.
