JFletcher, stop using art as a way to hide from the world. Make some friends and go out and do shit for fun. You also might want to seek help. Just having someone to talk to (in person) can do wonders for your outlook.
Personally I was most addicted to BF2, but had a lot of fun in BF1942. I hope they pump the player count to something crazy like 128 players, the BF games could definitely use some of the epic sized battles with tons of players like in Planetside!
to the best of my knowledge a straight technical artist might be better for making an example of this but I had fun creating this. I'm thinking if I choose to implement this I will need a reflective map to dictate where the reflectivity is. I've heard others refer to it as a roughness map.
and a new picture. It even includes a wire... Although thats mostly for show, as im trying to get the shape right, polies are split where i need detail, and loops are destroyed. Removed the cloth as it looked stupid, and made some legs, have fun with the comments ]
GOOOOO Team!!!! i will miss you guys..it really is a super fun place to work.. i also think the company has started making some great decisions and what is in the pipe could be very sucessful.. i will send you guys shrimps and barbies...
If I want to watch something really shitty but kinda fun if you don't care, I watch the RE movies. If I want to watch some pretty cool action and a cheesy but cool story with insane special effects, I play the RE games!
The various 1up podcasts are pretty good. Not gamedev, per se, though: GFW Radio (Shawn Elliot in particular) almost never fails to crack me up. 1up Yours Retronauts is fun if you know the game/franchise they're talking about that week.
Hey, looks like a fun concept. I'd say the gun is looking great even without the scope so whatever you decide doing will be right. I'd round out those barrels if I where you though. They look kinda funky as they are now.
Really guys? A thread about fun innovative indie games that push the boundaries and we go and get caught up in literal definitions of what indie is that totally invalidates the entire purpose of this discussion. This place blows lately, peanut gallery is getting too big.
haha.. this is so fun.. whats all this about, last days two guys have started to post stuff and want to make money of it.. and all your talk about xbox vs 360? when are you planing for release? will you be at E3 next year?
