Hello, I need a feedback to this. This is a bandit base entrance in forest. I want it look stylized, but not so much. Stones need some work, but when I sculpt some stone, it looks ugly. Image was rendered in Blender. Model is created too in blender. Thanks for any feedback
Just moved to Seattle been hankering to sculpt so I went to a cafe and did this in a few hrs. Original Concept by Dave Masson Forest gaurdian Check him out here!https://www.artstation.com/artist/davidmassonart Just wanted to say hi!, any C&C welcomed. Thanks everyone!
My first thought was to do some kind of flame man in a forest, on the verge of interacting with a flower. After some thought, however, I decided this was a tad generic. I still like the idea of fire, so I thought what if instead it was a woman, and she was interacting with a crib or something. I'll play with the idea. WIP…
Hi 3D Art Showcase! This is the concept art I started out by doing. I went for like a wind waker mixed with snowy deep forest-sweden and vikings basically. I used photoshop and a wacom tablet to paint it. Hope you like it! Jo Holm
Ok here's the updated rocks. I also started a rowboat model today as well. I continued messing with the trees and i reimported them completely which allowed me to use the improved normals. Sucks to have to replant a forest though... Anyways new pic.
Check capitalization in your biography ( a lowly "i" there) and I'd also link to the company site for the mentioned company/game. For the forest shrine, I'd cut that image up so you can make it bigger and actually see detail OR make it viewable like in Sketchfab or something.
@Martoon Thank you for your input ! I did previously try to increase the light as the forest looks too dark, however it kind of smears the scene and the contrast seems lower. What do you think ? I'll also try to make it a bit lighter in post
For some it's beautiful, for others it's not. It evokes a different emotion for me. To be honest, that sculpture freaks me out. That's a powerful and personal enough message to me. If I was lost in a forest lit only by moonlight and I found this thing in the middle of nowhere, I would probably piss myself.
There is a big chance I'm just not seeing the forest because of the trees, but when I try to render a turntable in MT2 it just dumps the frames in picture format in a folder. Is there a way to have MT2 actually render the video itself? Not seeing anything in the options to address this. Thanks!
