Hi guys im looking to test somestuff on my model with out putting in the textures but i cant seem to find out how to export a .Mdl im using maya 2013!?!?

Pre 2013 (or 2012?) you would need to go with the biped, its located in your create panel, under "Systems".

You're Max Version is prior to the 2013 version I think :p and so you don't have a mouse Tab.

If you are using Max 2013 set the viewport to Shaded Materials With Maps. If you use Realistic Materials it will lag the viewport.
