You can always roto. On the one hand the tools are really advanced nowadays - on the other, one can always hire dozens of guys from non-western studios to do all the work manually... Roto artists are the unsung heroes of VFX. Not that anyone else in VFX gets songs sang about them. -

I want to test how well I can launch particle systems I do VFX and would love an interactive scene where I can display dozens of explosions made in Unity's Shuriken. What features can I expect to allow a user to trigger VFX???.... or should I just author things on a loop? -

Thank you all for feedback i will try it. I sculpted model in zbrush. Also decimated it in this case displacements are baked in to the mesh so cant go lower then 2 million as skinn will loose its resolution this way. I will later try other method (not baking disp maps in to the mesh and getting mesh to houdini and using… -

for vfx its somewhat simple, hollywood unions are on strike, no movies are made, projects get halted. the way many vfx studios are set up is super tight knit, one project falls apart, a lot of stuff goes tumbling down. as for games, embracer group gambling with money they didnt have is a thing, so they are selling and… -
