Hey, great progress you should show some wires of the model. Are you using Modo 401, I'm now a modo user use to be a Maya user but I made the transition and Im loving it.
There should be an official Polycount steaming night. Where we all big in share progress maybe have a theme for the night. Imagine like 300 or 400 PC members all together making art.
Woo, finished the High Poly. The Low Poly is sitting at 390 Tris. Think that might hurt the odds of getting it accepted? I think for Juggernaut it's supposed to be 300 on the regular model and 400 on the preview model.
There's a lot of indy games that get funded through Kickstarter, I'm sure if a small indy studio got a good gameplay demo and presented itself well, it could easily get $40k for a shorter project.
Right on! I'm down for going Brouwer's Cafe: 400 N. 35th Street Seattle, WA 98103 So, let's make that the official meeting spot? Edit: Here's the website http://www.brouwerscafe.com/bier.html
[ QUOTE ] The bar is allready too high for indies to take over. [/ QUOTE ] BWAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHA!!!!!! this is the funniest thing i have heard in all of life. the bar is actually burried 400 miles under the earth's crust.
Paul Hormis has a good method of setting up chains for dynamic simulation, you might be able to adapt parts of it to what you're doing? http://www.hyperent.com/Hyp-Tutorial-Cloth-003.php
Sectaurs: That's awesome, just checked out your site and saw those walls from 40K. I had thought about making those exact same walls from the model sets :D
I deleted my photobucket account after they tried to charge everyone 400 dollars to post images on forums. photobucket are scum, and this thread is ruined. if a mod sees this, feel free to delete this whole thread.
happy b-day! call me weird but the 40k mmo is one of my most anticipated games even though i haven't seen anything from it, but i know the art is gonna rock!
