I'm no expert myself but "low poly" and "13 317 polygons" don't really go well together aswell. Are you sure about that count? Looks like thats your high poly count, which is meaningless here since I assume you only used that actual highpoly to bake maps But that's just a small side note.
This week before getting too busy with other obligations I have working on the main character model, so far I only have the head created. Head model: Concept Art (From the concept art department): I smoothed out some of the facial features to be more boy like, he is about 13 years old.
Everything in that trailer looks boring and generic - nothing in it seemed remotely exciting. Seems like it is a rather literal remake of the original but without any of the gratuitousness that made Verhoeven's such a memorable movie. Another big studio nostalgia cash grab. Also some terrible CG shots in there. Add to that…
Nope, I've never got a virus while searching for... "references" ;) . Actually, I haven't had a computer virus since I was 13 years old. I don't use any anti virus software either. It's just a common sense thing.. once you've had a few viruses, you learn what to avoid, and it becomes pretty easy.
I was going to post exactly the same thread. I'm really getting sick of this books hype. 13 year olds who read this book now think they are philosophers because they know a big world secret but don't know the meaning of philosophy. Dan Brown is a terrible writer too. EDIT: Are there any good proof sitesthat this whole…
Dio most of the devs jumping aboard are just porting their games over. Nintendo have devs "interested" in GC aswell, for ports that is. To make my point clear, 13 of those games are ports and 3 are made by MS Game Studios so that leaves 2 games that i am unsure wether they appear on other systems or not (Contemned and…

Yeah, xnormal is super. You can use all your threads on the CPU and use the GPU, on normal maps and AO. BUT, i have felt that maya's normal maps, in some cases, looks better. I have the same problem. Sitting on a 2600k it's using about 13% when baking. I have no idea what it is i'm afraid..

Helll yeah!! Looks like we are at about 13 who know they are going "for sure" which is awesome!! At the suggestion of flex-master Helenek, I'll add more columns when we get closer/know the date for sure, such as Hotel/accommodation column, so we can midnight creep on up and rage til the sun comes back.
