If I was a betting man I would guess early-mid June. Havok script is not in Vision.. Currently vision has its own lua compiler with a full debugger included!
Your best bet in Maya is to make an ao shader and drop it on your model then bake. I think I saw a script at some point on creative crash that simplified the process.
There's always this script; http://www.mariussilaghi.com/products/smooth-edges Or select the loop and use FFD modifiers...not quite the same feel though..maybe hiding verts not in the loop will freeze them?
This should work: http://maxplugins.de/max2009_64.php?search=&sort=Author BTW thanks for the heads up. This looks much better than the outliner script I was using before.
Depending on the reference it can start to look muddy really quick and end up being useless thanks for all the replies! I'll have to look into those scripts : ) much appreciated!
The code can be anywhere in the scene. You can access the whole script when you make it public. But you need to adjust the code. You can´t use it like it is.
You need to pay more attention to polygon distribution. And next time, don't use some sort of automated reducing script for the sphere - just use a sphere, subdivcube or geosphere.
Gah. Still stuck. Anyone know of any plugins or scripts involving animation? So I can get a look at them, see how they did things, that sort of thing...
