Having this problem of UE4 crashing every time I try to reimport a static mesh I updated in Maya. I go and hit reimport on the static mesh in the UE4 Content Browser and UE4 immediately crashes. Google layered materials in ue4/unity. Getting both uv sets into ue4 might require extra googling. You'll also need to account for a second set of tangents in your shader.
Bercon tiles is not supported by ue4..I think. If u read the comments section of the video, it seems there is some research on how to use this technique in ue4 by the person who made the video tutorial.
wip 1 I started blocking the primary forms last week and created a setup in UE4 so I can start iterating on the likeness sculpt. Zbrush UE4 decimated meshes.
If I remember correctly translucent materials can only sample reflection coming fro SSR is recent version of UE4, or have no reflections at all in older versions. That's a limitation or UE4 unfortunately.
I'm wondering about modding now, can a developer ship a game, and include some of the UE4 scene files to allow people to download UE4 and start modding or making custom levels?
