Hey, first post here! This is my second attempt to project high poly normals onto a low(ish) poly model (model is around 5K so it is not that low). My first attempt worked alright, but the texture is not finished so I am posting this one :)
Hi! I hope it's ok to post traditional stuff :) Here are some modeling attempts I made with modeling clay. Any C&C are more than welcome: Thanks for looking :)
You've got to be kidding Laurel.. Superb sculptures, and as everyone says very inspiring work. Told you how much the concepts rock already. Definitely post more!
Hi everyone Here's a little render of a wor in progress sculpture based on the Disney infinity Venom Ssculpture... I am loving the keyshot bridge for zbrush a little more everyday! [IMG][/img]
Hi there! I want to start a new project to push my skills in 3D Character Modelling. My goal is to create a sculpture of Superman to improve the creation of a male anatomy, and to learn how to sculpt clothes and accessories properly. This is my first time doing a character, I just create some environment assets in Maya.…
^ didn't realize how many practical sculptors there were here. As far as tools go; it really depends entirely on what you are attempting to do. I do most of my sculpture work with my hands, but when it comes to getting down to the nitty gritty of things, I like to keep a spatula, needle, and loop tool at hand, as well as a…
I've modeled this and now trying to get a decent render. My camera angles aren't up to much yet. But mostly, I can't get the texture right. It's suppose to be concrete. Think the lighting is not good enough too. I'm just using a skylight at the moment. Render has Ambient Occlusion.
Here's something I stumbled across on the internet, made by artist Shawn Smith. He's done a bunch of these voxel animals. http://www.shawnsmithart.com/images.htm
