@SimãoSilva I think that's a solid blockout, looking forward to see it in Unreal. One comment I would make is that there is no proxy human visible in the in the render, for scale reference, thus making it hard to judge the dimensions. @Convergent31 Nice start. How are you planning to create the soft/fabric casing? Keep it…
Got a issue with rendering polypaint without shadows. Software renderer cannot render polypaint. Hardware renderer can, but adds shadows. Cannot have shadows... If advanced lighting is turned off, polypaint is turned off. Any ideas?
Hi, i've added a new camera to my sequencer, and when trying to render i'm getting a still image of a completely wrong angle of my scene, and also getting this error: "Shot/Camera "no shot(2)" starts on a sub-frame. Rendered range has been rounded to the previous frame to match Sequencer." Anyone that can point me where…
From a portfolio point of view, if you have plans to work with real-time environments and/or models (games): add asset breakdowns. These should include for example, wireframe renders, texture map renders, etc. This will help showcase that you can create production-ready models and not just good looking still renders.
I was wondering if anyone could help with automating the batch rendering of multiple camera and render presets. We have sets of presets for each isometric direction. up, up/right, right, etc... Could we create a .MEL script which would automatically change each preset for the camera and render settings and batch render it?…
Hi, guys. I am just starting with Maya. I need to learn this because i am student now and they use Maya in the university and not a Blender. I have been with Blender for almost two years. This is great program for me because it allows me to make complex animations quickly from the scratch and cheaply render them, this…
When rendering out passes, say diffuse and shadow, I use to set them up separately before rendering. I'm a bit slow on the uptake but I've recently began using Render Elements in Max. How can I use Elements to render out the passes (diffuse + shadow) without having to render out the complete master render first? It seems…
Sad problem.I am still struggling with my renders looking different from the ones obtained after batch rendering.I have decided to render each frame from Maya by clicking the render button instead of batch rendering them. Why does Maya have this problem? I wanted to ask if there is a script that can render out each frame…
