Looking good so far! This may sound weird, but I find that the upper armour doesn't contrast well with the skin (in terms of HVS). If you add padding like dand3d suggested this could help, or change up the hvs of the armour, such as add some colour into the greys to help compliment the skin & straps (maybe a green-blue…
I gave up on CS5 because of that damn issue where if you don't use tabs it fucking opens each document as a separate program in the task bar. Tabs in Photoshop are a huge step backwards, they work fine and dandy in Firefox, but I despise them in Photoshop.
Hey peeps, I'm trying to set up a brush to tile an image in Zbrush. It's all working just dandy, except for the fact that when I zoom in or out of my model the brush keeps its relative size, making it hard to keep the tiling consistant. Any tips?
used this at work quite a bit for printing.... blown a standard 8/5x11 to 15ft wide. Still holds up, but it does give it a slight "painterly" effect in my opinion. just need to make sure the source image is a high enough resolution, which if you use your max doc size out of zb, it will work just dandy.
Hello guys. Finally had some time to work on this again. I started again from the beginning so that I could change the tail and the way she lies on the waves. dand3d: Thanks for the reply and the explanation! I stayed away of dynamesh with redoing the mermaid and used a better basemesh instead, which did work better:)…
I'm currently working with a 1600 DPI, €10 mouse, and for normal modeling it's just dandy. But for sculpting you'll definitely want a tablet. You'll want to try a few different ones to see what you prefer. I personally prefer a cheap brand A4 over a small wacom, because it allows me to make large swooping strokes.
well that's just dandy. I'm taking my honeymoon cruise across the gulf to Cozumel and Cancun in 3 months. Hopefully fate will let me get some snorkeling in before we get a Texas sized tidal wave. The british have been planning to get back at us all these years.. good move I salute you. jk ;)
And it is texture time! Finished up the more important work and finally got a chance to texture this. I'm pretty happy with the results so far. I'm just going through now and checking for anything that needs help. So if you guys wouldn't mind chucking some crits at me, that would just be dandy! *Edit* Removed the outdated…
Hey man thanks for that, i updated my drivers but i've been working on some low poly stuff so didnt have much reason to go in to high quality and wouldnt have noticed this for a while yet. Back dated and everything is fine and dandy once again :)
Better watch out! " A response will be sent only if there is a suitable position available. All materials sent to Next Level Games become property of Next Level Games Inc. We appreciate your interest." Might want to hold onto the scene file. Looks dandy to me.
