Just another update for you guys! The sculpt is coming to an end now, just going through and polishing the model, adding some smaller details and edgewear for that extra character :) As always, feedback is welcomed!
I said I needed to get past using just dynamesh and sculpting :P as in, use other things. Video is from digital tutors unfortunately, Quick Start to Zbrush V. 1
I spent 3 days to finished zbrush sculpting and used maya 2014 to created low poly modeling-->(3104 tris not sure it's low enough) I 'm still working on texturing.
What sorta brushes did you use in Zbrush to keep such hard angles? I find that my sculpts look very soft and rounded. Did you use the Planar brush a lot?
Just a little update from the last couple days! and this is the paintover of the last image of where I want to take the sculpt. I would appreciate any ideas or critiques that you might have!
Not bad for a student. I would say show more of your highres sculpt in your screenshot...maybe get a back shot in as well as front. Maybe work on the hair and rendering a little more.
http://andykim.carbonmade.com My FOTA: Ice Level piece is most relevant for this position; it showcases my composition work to lead the player, sculpting the terrain, and applying the texture on the terrain to, again, guide the player.
well if she's gonna be wearing clothes, her boobs will be pressed together like when wearing a bra... so better save a copy of your model, and sculpt the boobs for when she's dressed...
I've got some of the clothing sculpted. There are some things that I'm not really happy with so I'll be redesigning the glove armor, shirt, and boots. The pants are not wrinkling right so I'll be revisiting that as well.
Awesome stuff Josh!, I got to work on your bear for KoA:R cool sculpts! i really wish that massariol hair you did made it out there it looks freaking phenomenal. -Woog
