Urk... I used a Medion once, it took half a minute of pressing the pen on the tablet to make the thing adjust its pressure sensitivity correctly and disabling the auto-adjust didn't work. Usually Aldi does everything well but that tablet sucked so hard I could use it to evacuate a building in 2.5 seconds.
Very interesting thread! I think there is a clear distinction to be made between "bad games" and "challenging games". Both types can be hard, but one is good and one is bad. Some examples : I love Super Meat Boy, Quake live, and MW3 multiplayer. These are considered "hard" games ; however, their mechanics are incredibly…
@Greg Westphal it's too early for me to say for sure. It certainly has not replaced my sketchbook yet. I carry both now... but I do love the ipad pro just as tablet (my first tablet actually.. I am late comer for sure). As for Procreate, I am still learning it, and admittedly have been out of practice with painting for a…
heh cheers hawken of course I plan to do that. however the work I have over the next few days won't involve much tablet use so I was looking for peoples opinions on how useful the extra intuos 3 doodads actually are and whether they would choose size or sensitivity as the main feature of a tablet
i had an ipad for 1 year, had to install itunes all that crap , not beeing able to use it as an USB drive like any other normal tablet, their restrictive use of the object i OWN and the fact that before each update the damn tablet would be incredibly slow and crashy put me off for life. fuck you apple
Why not hold off until Wacom released their tablet PC. Its supposed to come out sometime this summer. If you cant wait, then get cheapy...something like a used asus ep121, samsung slate, fujitsu lifebook or surface pro. I really would hold off if possible though. The good art tablets are right around the corner.
Okay, so im just about to start at college but have been wanting to get a tablet for quite a while now. The wacom bamboo create is in my price range but ive been told the intuos series is much better. I know there is a lot of other tablets out there and i just dont know which one to purchase. any advice would be much…
And without a tablet or a mouse it’s a big bother to try to do anything with only the touchpad. i have special living conditions to where I can’t exactly order things online or go to shops, I’m a truck driver. And in this pandemic even Walmart is closing its electronics section so I can’t even get a cheap Bamboo tablet.
I got me a pen tablet... I jes to lazy to reach over 13 inches n grab it! :-) I have used the early versions of LN with my tablet. I had my hopes on that velocity "feature" for an LM! "lazy mouse" ( plus it just seems silly that no one has ever built pressure sensitivity into mice )
I found the problem. I'm using a Surface Pro, which doesn't play completely well with Modo. I had to set the input to Tablet instead of Mouse, even though I'm using a mouse. Setting it to Tablet fixed the issue. I'm just very glad to know that isn't the normal way it's supposed to function. Had me terrified XD
