Art that's actually evocative of something, and inspiring, and interesting, instead of thoughtless mechanical replications. Concept art usually blows away the final product in tone/style/communication, technical limits aside.

Hi everyone! This is my first time posting :D Some time ago I tried to replicate Riot's style of doing Splash Arts, here's the result! The character is Lin Fei from Brawlhalla
Crits are always good, but some of them are hard to replicate, to be honest most of these people don't realize how much skill it takes to do something like this by yourself, just my two cents.
That's not a functionality in blender, in fact it's simply a total lack of ngons support :> I tried to replicate the effect using macros in max, no success so far. But I'm sure it's possible with enough maxscript knowledge.
I am trying to replicate the effect in Unity3D but have some problems with how to actually deform the mesh. Maybe some of you wizards here can share some light on that matter? Kudos
There is no native feature for that, but you should be able to copy/replicate a mask into a fill layer. Then just create two fill layers, one being white, the other black and you will get your mask.
thanks paroxum! you wouldn't be able to post a screenshot of your settings would you :$, i'm trying my hardest and I can't replicate it, it's more square and chiseled, and not so lumpy... arghhhh
Thanks for the info and help, I will try to freestyle it. When working from concept is it expected of you to replicated it 100% in form and measurements, or to just capture the overall aesthetic and intent of the original concept art?
The latest UDK update is out today. It's mostly a bug fix update but there are a few new features as well that might help a couple folks out there with a few specific issues.
