Thanks for the fast replies guys, realy a shame you can't just go free hunt anywhere. So the only way to gather resurces via that "hunt report" is farming in the forest... wierd.
It is veeeery slick, no more fumbling around with a giant forest of buttons, customizable hotkeys, new animation and UI make everything so KICK ASS. wondering where I got it? Check out blendernation.com
You can try to look at some Unreal Engine Forest packs. They often have everything what is necessary and you can inspire by them. Reverse engineering is also kind of tutorial and way how to move forward.
Here's the idea for my entry: Graves Is chasing his long time enemy, the card shark known as Twisted Fate. Here in the midst of the forest, though Twisted Fate is not on the scene, his cards are evidently struck towards Graves.
Looks Really Nice, Perhaps your forest could benefit from some medium sized shrubs/ plants, but it's not needed for your objective. Overall one of the best tests I have seen - Keep up the good work.
Now have 4 fully fuctioning resources need to to change the food to farms animals and forest bushes from vespian gas giesers though. Added watchtowers, Blacksmith and imported some other buildings into engine ready to use.
Just finished up this piece and was looking for some thoughts and feedback. I was going for an RPG's NPC feel with this character. The idea was A small village hidden in a forest on a faraway planet and what type of cosmic sorcerer might reside there. Thanks for your time and critiques!
I think it's just beautiful. I think filling up the right side open area with a forest will help set the city back ever further. Right now it looks to close on that straight road.
The map for the town is 10x better with the descriptions of the surrounding area! Before I was picturing flat grasslands which never ended, now I'm picturing an actual countryside. Will you be creating the trees for the forest yourself?
So would their jungle/forest tech demonstrations indicate that they are using dynamic lighting to a larger extent than before ? Perhaps static of non deformable/destroyable trees and dynamic for the more dynamic bushes and shrubs ?
