I've read some positive and negative things about Ubi Shanghai. I guess its not for everyone. Personally I'm just looking to get some worldly experience and clock up some more months in the game industry at the same time.
That clock texture looks a little off to me. I think it's how the paper looks all worn but the numbers seem to float on top and not affected by those cracks at all. Apart from that it seems like solid work so far.
We don't because the forum mods and people at Epic are sleeping but we'll do our best to make sure it counts. I'm basically counting the clock, and being the unofficial judge for this thread. 10 MINUTES LEFT until the actual deadline.
Timed it by converting it to a Python script (same thing - just fires a list of commands) and timed it using clock() from the time module... took 55 seconds for my mesh. That's with seal holes on, but there's no speed difference between having that option on/off.
The Clock weapon is pretty cool but I'd stay away from making his weapons look like organic hooks as that's sort of Pudge's thing. I'd say keep the idea but change what the "grabbing/latching" portion of it looks like.

Thanks man, was going to post the rear shots as soon as I've done the taillights and gas pedals (as you can see in to the interior from the rear). So should be able to do another update tonight, depending on what time I clock off :)
Thanks for the information guys I really appreciate. I have finally been looking in two laptops, one is the gaming. OMEN 15-en1003ns Gaming Laptop with NVIDIA® GeForce RTX ™ 3070 Graphics Windows 10 Home 64 AMD Ryzen ™ 7 5800H (up to 4.4 GHz maximum clock boost, 16 MB L3 cache, 8 cores, 16 threads) RAM DDR4-3200 MHz 16 GB…
Make sure that you haven't accidentally switched off construction history. The icon looks like a piece of paper with a small clock in the top left corner (Maya 2009). It lives near the right side of the status line, next to the render buttons.
Hey guys, I modeled this little clock I found at the antique shop a few weeks ago and put it into marmoset. I'm just looking for critiques on my texturing and rendering as I'm trying to get in as much practice as I can before school starts back up. Any feedback is appreciated!
