Made some speed animations today. This took about 1 hour: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mOoT3nY0KW8 ~ 1,5 hours: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3zMdYnI0wI8 ~30 min: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LZCaiiCLcQ8
Hey there! I'm a 3D artist, working in 3DS Max, and a little Maya. Not really into rendering yet, mostly working in game-engines! Experience in Unreal Engine 4 and CryEngine 3. Currently importing the Forum Romanum of 180 A.D.
Unity use the CPU engine, which doesn't support RGBA maps in 16bits. Therefore using a position map with a tri-planar projection in a Substance will look pixelated. The only solution is to use this version : https://share.allegorithmic.com/libraries/115
dinos rule, my first post on here was a dinosaur about 1.5 years ago that got torn to shreads like virginia slims, we've come a long way baby, lol http://boards.polycount.net/showthread.php?t=53625
Yeah that's what I mean, simplest way I think is to select all polies, set the angle to 180 and then automatically generate smoothing groups. Could you post a picture of the lowpoly without textures but with smooth/highlighted shading?
Hi Polycount! This is my first project post, and I was hoping to get some feedback and critiques. This is a portfolio piece based on concept art for The Illusionist, found here (image 145). Please critique anything, though the things I'm less confident on are composition and lighting.
I was having the same problem with my server room scene and MaYdaY suggested the follow console variables. These worked great for me. r_DynTexMaxSize = 400 e_ShadowsMaxTexRes = 4096 r_ShadowJittering = 6 e_ShadowsConstBias = 1 e_ShadowsCastViewDistRatio = 1.5
Hi guys, im having issues with furion's beard when exporting, the bones are rotated 180, but the top part(rigged to head bone is fine).any kind souls out here help me please?
Thank you! I'm glad you like it. :) It took me about 1,5 hours to create the new preset and apply it to all the textures in the scene. What I wanted was more grime and to better accentuate the edges.
