-Holy shit K'VIN that looks so good! my only note is that when he swings her wing back it looks like a pop but the rest is so good! -That damaged walk looks awesome Blond! I can totally see that he is hurt. There is a strange movement in the back left leg, his knee goes up and down very fast. It does this in the entire…
At first glance, the weathering and dirt seem to cover everything equally and ends up washing out the entire model. Be a little pickier as to where that grime/dirt/weathering would appear on a building ( under ledges, under the windows, up from the street level. In your second wip shot, there's something strange going on…
Thanks, man. The lighting is what it is. That's how it looks in engine. You critique what you can see. If I asked to critique a Gears of War scene, for example, and it's really dark. You critique what you see. You don't say I can't critique it because I can't see everything. If I'm off base saying this let me know. As far…
Never working with UDK made me loss some nerves today :D I finally managed to load helmet in slot, however still I dont know how to preview this on test map in nicer lightning as when I am adding Vanguard to map he does not have slot that I choosen for him in assets editor. Anyway here are some screens. I baked both…
The textures don't match the shape. Paint is off everywhere, scratches, rust - but there are no dents or other damage anywhere. The damage and dirt on the textures are also spread for to uniformly. You're also lacking dirt and desolation in general. It's not an old looking thing, it just looks beat up. Where's the faded…

So this far it was just a scripted switch to a damage model? At very least give us the ability to exchange parts of the model with a damaged version (instead of scaling down bones or something), preferrably without coding in a new species and killing netgame compatibility (custom gibs and sounds without coding would be…
What's up guys, I really wanted to get a thread going for this WIP of a new environment I started, looking to get feedback and critique along the way of my journey building this thing up. I hope everyone's having a great soon to be Happy New Year! So here is to the start of a New Year with the new environment I've been…
New roles deserve a new thread; Character Artist As Splash Damage's Character Artist, you will work closely with the Character Art Lead and be responsible for creating, establishing and maintaining high quality characters for our games. This role will require the artist to be confident painting textures and also sculpting…
I saw this on Artstation, great job. I agree with @teodar23 comments. The leather does look good, but the blade seems to be far from what the ref is (what I have found anyways. I outlined four points that might help 1 - The iron oxide need to look more to the image. I would get this on there first, then work on the damage.…
