I got an Asus laptop that while it might not be a "beast" it can model in Zbrush and Maya just fine and run games like Bad Company 2 pretty well. It cost me $600 on Craigslist. Like EQ said, save the money for a beast desktop so you can use that processing power to run a super high resolution monitor. -

26k in one life on a PC that cant even handle the sparkle effects... wow, you know your PC is shit when it cant cope with flashgames. I got to about 45k but I could probably get to 60k+! silly pc ;< awesome game, love how you can use the dash to get extra jumps n whatnot. -

Well the script works a bit different than just finding the area between the UVs. For example if you face mapped a box, this script will output 600%, because each side of the box is using 100%. So for a character that is mirrored perfectly you should shoot for 200%. But wether it's in Photoshop or this script everyone… -

Alright to be 101% sure I asked my isp about it and they confirmed PolyCount is no longer open service to our ip ranges. Now whom should I contact to verify my ip address? They didn't answer the contact form withing 24 hours. -

Thanks for the info @Swordslayer I messaged Martin. Helical Cyl looks like a lot of fun :) It seems like the bevel profile has been in Modo since 401! A very clever tool. I'm surprised it hasn't appeared in other 3D packages as standard.
