Hi Devers,
Couldn't open Polycount.com for a while, thought it was down.
Just tried with a proxy server (different ip) and it showed up.
It turned no PCs here are able to open this site unless through a Non-Iran ip.
Can somebody inform me why Iran ip addresses are blocked?
Cheers.

that would have to be one big IP block list even with ranges.
just take a look here:
http://ipinfodb.com/ip_country_block.php#blocklist
it is more likely that some spam bot got range blocked and you accidentally fell into that range
@oXYnary, Iran does block some websites such as Facebook, etc etc. but for that it redirects us to a page where it says the website is blocked from our side. but polycount isn't being contacted at all.
Now whom should I contact to verify my ip address? They didn't answer the contact form withing 24 hours.
Tracert polycount.com

You might also try contacting one of the moderators.
Also,
Can you link me to a moderator please?
Feel free to send me your IP in PM and I can double check but I doubt you're even making it to our servers.
The only thing I can think of is that Polycount is being blocked by the Iranian government or someone acting on their behalf, probably because of the non-worksafe nature of some of the posts on here. Given the nature of the forum and the attitude(s) of the majority of members and host countries, I don't think this is going to change any time soon. I don't know the Iranian government reacts to the use of proxies, but be careful.
PMed my ip to cheeseplus I guess he did something!
I hope it'll stay as it is.
Thank you all.
