So this project got a bit sidetracked due to getting commissioned to make a custom textured version of this asset for an existing game. Here's the finished result of that. I'm still going to see about texturing the highpoly. And will have to come up with another graphic that I can distribute.
my april batch XD FINNNALLY i have managed to stream on a consistent basis. some pokemon, gohan from dbz (present/commission for my beloved cousin), a buff character which was inspired by hunter mortenson and a speedsculpt master study of nohzro's character taiga
Ahh I see.. Thanks Oxy.. Again, it's very likely that these are additional bonuses rather than royalties legally. So it's likely that they are not considered under commissions, royalties or time off. The term royalties has been used so liberally in the media that people might misunderstand.
I don't think Train2Game is necessarily a scam, it's just the typical crappy for-profit diploma mill correspondence course thing / recruiters paid on commission. (I mean, look at the "student gallery" on their site. Surely they would've picked better stuff to showcase if they were entirely fake?)
I've done a weapon commission for this guy, but he never pay me for the model, he also never reply my email and message on skype, this guy is just a spammer, he really is wasting my time, you guys should be careful doing business with this guy.
Hello people of polycount! Seems like nobody checks this post anymore :D Boring posts, but here comes more! My friend asked me to draw something for her, so here's a lil commission (didnt get paid tho) work for mein friend..
@Blond, I went to the Animation is Film Festival yesterday and saw a Behind the Scenes of Klaus talk from Sergio Pablos. He said the original demos used Nuke, but that they have since commissioned custom software that motion tracks the all hand-painted light. No 3D.
Hey Vando, Are you available for a freelance commission at the moment? If so, please contact me at DeadHorseGamez@Gmail.Com. If not, feel free to contact me anyway. If you are available at a later date, that may work as well. The work would be a bit similar to the art in this thread. Regards, Jon
I'm back! Unfortunately I injured my wrist AND broke my tablet, so I was out of commission for a little while. Here's some stuff from today: I'd really appreciate some crits on the first one, because I'm feeling kind of stuck
That's why we developed strong quality control policy. I wouldn't call it greedy. It is more of a will to get 100% for your professional services, "pay rent" for publicity and support your clients. In contrary, commission model is quite irresponsible, because sellers are not allowed to interact with customers.
