We did a bunch of Wii stress testing over a year ago just to see what we could do with it and we were pleasantly surprised actually. As kio mentioned, static polygons are a breeze for the Wii it seems, we managed to get 300,000tris rendered with 25 unique 512x512 textures without any real significant hit to render times… -

erm the contest ist over, the finals have been passed to them a month ago, i highly doubt the new version, even though its rounder, will make a cut @josh: it's 2500$ for the first and 500 for the 5th, together 3000$ its a bit more then half of what i paid to get the trademark :P -

thanks sean, Polycount's do still matter Rick; when someone needs a model bulit in under a certain amount of tris or polys you don't want to send a 5000 poly character to someone who asked for a 2000. thanks, todman -
