My progress
I am making a Japaneses room for my final! first I modeled all of my assets. After that I baked a normal map with the mattress. I had a high polly and low polly! After adding in the textures and moving it to unity this is how it came out! -

Yeah some shooting ranges let you rent guns, depends on where you go. It's popular for Japanese tourists to go to shooting ranges in Hawaii and rent different guns because almost all guns are banned in Japan. -

This image is from the design book they released after the end of the anime. It is only in Japanese and somewhat rare to find it now but it will help you immensely. I have somewhere stashed the book so I will try to find it and post it here. -

My reaction was 'holy balls'. If those Japanese characters are supposed to be carved in my hand, they are a mite too clean otherwise its a perfect asset. Blurry in some parts, maybe your texel disparity is a little messed up? -

I've bean reading this thread and it's blown me away. One think I would like to know is this talk about decals! what are they in video game terms? are decals for the use of eyes used commonly in japanese/stylised games? -

That's pretty sad, it's harder to do something legit than something illegal for a game to work...it'd just be preferable to have a cheaper solution than buying a Japanese console, especially when I'm only looking at one game... -

I got one of these calls in Japanese. Turned out they wanted my work for a magazine, it's not all bad if you hear them out sometimes. Although in saying that, if they are coy I usually hang up in the first 5 seconds
