Been working on a wizard costume for an upcoming scifi con - and that means printing out the props. For example, this medallion: Printed on a simple Prusa i3 in PLA. I gave it a coat of epoxy laquer (unbranded, local hobby shop's name on it), then a coat of spray gold chrome. -

Ridleys had a few misteps latley, prometheus, robin hood, the counsellor (it was ok...). But i think hes still got a few more great movies in him. Im happy hes embracing scifi again. One of the better directors around even if not recently. -

KAROONA-class Revolver
Hey guys. I decided to learn to make my own hard surface designs and started to practice while learning Blender and cycles. I attempted a scifi-ish pistol. Hope you guys like the design. I rendered it in cycles. Also I could use some crits :) -

@ChrisFraser Thank you for the feedback and the laughter - I noticed the tubes are like that in scifi but honestly never said now that's a tripping hazard...but now I will, haha. Like I said to the others fixing that symmetry and I like the idea of more tubes on the floor through the grates. -

i am new to all this, this is my fist time using photoshop i'm a causal pencil artist but here is my concept scifi assault rifle for my class i would love to hear tips on how to improve ... and seeing 3D model would be amazing -
Re: zbrush 4R6 now with magic retopo
You guys should check out the updated Frame Mesh feature too. It will draw curves on the geometry edges, polygroup edges, and creased edges. It adds some much needed precision for the curves brushes, and it's good for funky scifi kitbashing or Giger inspired greeble. :p -

Re: Bears In Space WIP
So are you playing as a bear, or are there evil bears controlling the robots? Gameplay looks pretty great so far. Are you planning on adding the classic Doom weapons or focus on more scifi stuff such as lasers? Good luck, I hope this project goes well :smiley:
