Sweet work everyone @aesir, that's looking good man! @Makkon, that's a neat tutorial, you should just take from it what you can and incorporate into yourself. No need to constantly use the formula, but the technique still helps whenever it needs to. Some more from me: How to draw shoes 101: Playing with squares:
I'm on CC 2015.0.0, with Quixel 2.2.0, and no issue like this when creating new project. On a Win 7/16G/SSD You could try to "save and reboot" from Quixel menu after the new project has been created. This free up the memory and reboot Photoshop and quixel properly. Hope that help you.
Over the past four years, Blue Castle has brought together 160 of the most talented minds in the industry, shipped three titles in the process (The BIGS, MLB Front Office Manager and The BIGS 2 all published by 2K Sports) and are currently working on Capcom’s Dead Rising 2. I saw this over on cgtalk and wonder how the PC community thinks about this report. "A new report on the risks involved in game publishing and development has been released suggesting that, in the next generation, as few as 80 games a year will turn a profit."…
@shrike cheers for the comment, mate. Nice to get one from you. Mipp-mapping 101. :) Yeah, that was part of the design. This is purely a portfolio piece that I'm rendering offline so I was going for more of a real-world look rather than an in-game exaggerated bevel look as there'll be no mipping or LODing involved.
1920x1440 yeah but they don't make them. I was looking for a 4:3 for like 6 months but came up with a big fat goose egg. The biggest I found was 20" and it had a horrible pannel and 16ms response time. No good for gaming or movies. LCDs are pretty much aimed at 16:9 these days.
I use textures.com mostly if i need a texture input for something. I don't use that high resolutions tho, albeit they have some 16k and up textures aswell. In that case you're right, poliigon.com is considerably more affordable. Guess i had other uses in mind that don't require such resolutions.

Dolemite, read my first post and tell me what limitations the bill puts in place that would prevent the government from rationing health care to senior citizens. Read it slow, line by line. Maybe even read the bill? PS: Here's the link http://www.opencongress.org/bill/111-h3200/text
