ahahah I worked on this movie. Thanks for liking it! It is doing surprisingly well in theaters, opening weekend made 60+ million which is amazing for the type of film it is. It is MTV's biggest opener and they are now arm locked with happy madison and sony and two new rock/sandler movies are already in preproduction.
Yo! Really creepy scene, I like it :) - The stairs need a lot of work. They don't look like stairs, they look like pillows that are stacked at a way which physics wouldn't actually allow. - The rocks need more work imo. It looks like you went crazy with the trim dynamic brush but in the wrong way. Find some references for…
You're welcome :) Ah, yeah, I see
those steps now. I couldn't quite tell when I was looking at it
before. The main thing I was noticing was that the profile of the
hill was looking different from the reference image, like I show in
the image below with the thin red lines, which is great if you were wanting to do it that…
I partially agree, you can slap anything on top of this. Nothing really seems GiTS. But I should wait until I can get in on the release. Might be fun. A single player following a GiTS-ish story line would rock my socks.
Haha. wow such varied opinions. Personally I think it looks totally kick ass. I can understand if you dont dig the art direction or choice of post process filters. But the assets, textures, and design, for such a fast paced game rocks my socks.
Very coincidental that this thread popped up around now since a few of us at EA Mythic are also rocking the 'stache until art lock. Looking at you, KMan! No pics, yet (I need to get past the sexual predator 'stache stage ... if that's at all possible).
Hi, I saw some people have posted some art related items here for sale so I hope it's ok if I do the same. I live in LA, so artists in the area would be easier to sell to. The tablet new is worth $1,000 plus taxes and the cost of the dock ($130). Price is negotiable. pics here:…
Agreed Badger. I plan on tiding them up here in the next few weeks. Recently I've been dabbling within UDK. I've been trying to create rocks efficiently and I'm getting there....I think. Down below is my third attempt at rocks. I put some sharper edges within the mesh. (note the gray rocks next to the brown are my first…
Google Street View rocks my socks for reference. I frequently find myself losing hours of my free time just searching through various cities looking at interesting builidngs/architecture/etc.. I just wish there was a way to take screenshots without having to do print screen.
Yeah maybe just a bunch of splines, with a different noise seed each, and various thicknesses. Turn that into a texture, and use it to control the placement of rocks and sticks.
