So, spent most of the day working on this beast. I think I'm at a stage where I can pull this out of sculptris and start adding little details and asymmetry in Zbrush.
That ebony armor sculpt is gorgeous. I love asymetrical armor designs with mixed surface elements (cloth/metals) and that is a perfect example. Is there a female and beast race configuration set coming?
double post worth noting that this is geared towards environments and props. Characters are a different beast imo and a good, complete, high detail source mesh is probably the best thing to do.
