Instead of filling the room with more stuff you could try making the room smaller. The size of the room in the concept looks roughly 1/4th the size of your room. If all of the sofas, coffee tables, and book cases are closer together it would feel a lot more cozy. Or if you prefer the bigger room, that's cool too.
Is this the 3rd or 4th time? I don't think they have the conviction to make it happen and more importantly I don't think they even know how to pull it off. I would love for them to prove me wrong but their track record and their profit motivation (sell console games) make it really hard for me to believe them.
@Arturow We're going facebook live on Thursday the 4th at 11am PST for a video review of your animation. Do you want us to review your reel as well? We should have time for more reviews so if you anyone wants a reel review just drop it in here and we'll see if we can fit it in!
You normally want to keep all your pieces in one UV map, especially for low poly. Also, make sure to always look at your pieces to find parts that are repeated. Like his hat. If you cut the brim into 4th's, all the pieces are the same, so no need to include them all separately, they can be overlapped.
I'm seeing a lot of heads from directly in front, or in profile. Draw more in perspective, such as 3/4ths and any angle between to better understand the forms. If you draw direct front or profile you'll tend to rely on the iconography that you learned since you were a child, instead of how these organic forms really look.
Yes but for example that texturing of orgrimmar - go to the 4th work from the top and you can see there, he made those horns in Zbrush and then (i think so) he baked all maps and he probably did work in 3Dcoat too. And i want to know what is his photoshop setup of maps opacity and etc... just this
Update: I addressed my aforementioned areas of concern and took another look at the nose. I feel happy with the state of the piece and have decided to move on to sculpting the primary and secondary forms of the neck and chest, as well as readdressing the ears before moving on to tertiary details. Of course critique is…
Alright, outside of a few tweaks I think this will be my finish on this. going to try my hand at building it in 3/4ths view later in the month, maybe try to sneak in the overhead view getting the general idea of the map, avoiding details as much as possible in both of those though. So anyone have anything useful that I…
Real life is interfering with drawing, I'm moving to Stockholm from Malmö, so I needed to go up there to find a place to live etc. Didn't really have that much time to draw past weekend. Nude studies on the 4th of October. I also started reading Loomis's figure drawing book, and so far it's been full of revelations! Thanks…
@Macebo Thank you so much for your help. I'm only about 4th month into game Dev, and I'm having some serious struggles with texturing. Can you give me any more of the golden rules of perfect bakes, and such? Right now, everything I am is being self-taught, and I need a proper guidance and continuous critique.
