Hey I have sent this to the support email but I'm adding it here in case anybody can help. I am trying out some basic lighting in the engine and I am running into problems. My skylight doesnt seem to cast shadows and I cant work out why? I tried turning off back face culling and also imported a simple box mesh and nothing…
OK, what about this scenario, because of your UV layout you have a UV separation on a soft edge, do you keep it soft or put it in two different smoothing groups?
What if you made a mouse thats like a boob, it would be soft and nice and buttons would be behind the softness. Hawken can you enlight me if there allready are such things in Japanland? PS. im sorry i made you guys/girls read this
Default settings? Or are you using shadows? Soft shadows can do that sometimes, it's Autodesk's fault. Try switching to Hard and see if that fixes it. Again, the help tells you to be wary of soft shadows.
you're getting there, remember that even the edges that won't have uvs or a bake, still need to be a tad soft as well. and you don't want it too soft. you just want a light gradient.
The style of the concept has some interesting and very pleasing line work. The face also looks very "soft". I would like to see more of that linework and softness in the mesh (edgeloops and whatnot)
