I don't want to sound mean, but i'd recommend modelling some real world aircraft before coming up with your own concepts. Coming up with an original cool looking idea is probably even harder than actually modelling the thing. What do you call "low poly" ? In which context ? A low poly for baking a normal map is not the same low poly used for mobile/old-gen games. Anyway, avoid n-gons. Always. You have no control on them on how they will be triangulated by the game engine (if you use them for this purpose of course). Sometimes n-gons are helpful… -

If you wanna know for sure just check task manager. Shift+Ctrl+Escape. go into performance and see if all your cores are 100% if you want a core free to do other stuff go back to processes, RMB on the process and do set affinity and untick some. The "reflective smear" on your axe's edge could probably be resolved by properly triangulating that large n-gon before baking.
