On being the newest member of the World of Warcraft Character Art team. Well deserved man and I look forward to having you out here soon man! Blizzard Entertainment's logo may soon have a Polycount smiley face. :) -Kenny
Based this guy off of the character I used to play in World of Warcraft. I used the Deathmantle armor and the Shard of Azzinoth for reference. Marmoset Viewer file can be found on my Artstation: Here Hope you like.
Hey everyone I wanted share Mukmuk the Deep Sea Murloc. Characters aren't normally my thing, but murlocs are my favorite Warcraft creature and wanted to create one. You can view more on my artstation. https://www.artstation.com/artwork/mukmuk-the-deep-sea-murloc Thanks for viewing
This is an Ashenvale Moonwell fan art from World of Warcraft universe. I made this scene inspired by the paint of Anthony Avon : https://www.artstation.com/artwork/yZRA3 Hope you like it ! C&C Are hugely appreciated ! You can find a Marmoset Viewer on the Artstation publication there !…
aha, ok, it is much clear now to me, thanks. As for the purpose, i would aim something simpliest it can be. For example to be like some character in the World of warcraft strategic games, something like that. Or age of empires for example.
Yeah, for this one I'm taking a World of Warcraft style approach. I've not done any PBR yet, I'm still very new to 3D modelling, it looks great though, I'll be sure to give it a go in the future :)
Starting a new project! This is for my Advanced 3D modeling course - I'm doing a small diorama of a korean-inspired shrine that could fit into world of warcraft as a Pandarian structure :) I'd love some feedback on shapes and legibility!
HI, Lately I started working on a new project - Kobold based on World of Warcraft and incoming Hearthstone expansion - Kobolds and Catacombs. Here is form blockout, it goes well, so I really want to work on that
Inspired by the satyrs in the upcoming World of Warcraft expansion I'm a big fan of the Night Elves in WoW and hope that one day we'll get more Night Elf themed (and in general, more racial) armor sets in the game. Decided to draw an armor set design of my own. :)
See what Blizzard did in Warcraft 3: they painted everything onto a set of tiling textures. The terrain looks like different textures layering on top of each other, but they actually are not: everything is painted. It doesn't need any complex shader (or even a programmable shader) to look good.
