For free accounts dropbox has a limit of like 20gb bandwidth a day. Even for members it's still quite low, like 100gb. Dropbox isn't really meant for sharing files with multiple people :/
A simple solution is something like DropBox ... I do personal projects in that folder and it's automatically uploaded into the cloud and propagated to my other machines. It's NOT a backup solution, but it IS good for peace of mind. Files in DropBox aren't going anywhere. I can ALWAYS recover them if something crashes and…
you can download texture folder from the dropbox link too, but if i ever run into problems i'l send you an email. I'll be changing the link on my site to the dropbox link soon.
Hey all, I'm new here and just thought I would give this challenge the ol' college try, so here's my take on the mech and a Unity Webplayer to showcase it.
Dropbox? I thought that was standard these days? No compression, easy to use. Register and your up and running. And yes, that was an ref link from my Dropbox. I'm sneaky like that ;) (gets me an extra 250 mb..) Would love to see wires on both the HP and the LP. Looking very solid this far!
Yup, same here. Your links look like this: https://dl-web.dropbox.com/get/Public/Thumbnails.jpg?_subject_uid=36205410&w=AABuAmXm6NYVVkcFkiY2pFhTJdioxIrpxNbTjm018JoPUw Try right clicking your file in Dropbox and selecting "Share Dropbox link", "Copy public link" or Share --> Get link. It should begin with…
If you share a folder on dropbox any saves or updates to any files inside that folder with be updated for anyone that uses them. Also a program named tortoise SVN is alot like dropbox but intigrates directly with windows. Hope this helps
Can report that this sort of strange packing is still occuring. =( I am using lots of groups. Some UVs were outside of 0-1 space on import. Some UVs were overlapped, including those outside of 0-1 space. I've made the mesh available on Dropbox. It's an .obj file. Dropbox Link
ah blah. You should vote for them to add it in.. it would save a lot of hassle, but dropbox isn't a bad idea.. just inconvenient, haha. Unless dropbox has a way for me to convert any folder to DB.. hmm.. might get it when it hits 40 for pc, but I totally want it on pc now doh
sorry ro derail the thread, but dropbox and google drive just don't have enough space or it costs a fortune, our last project had around 200GB raw data from over 16 artists - at dropbox that would be 15x16=240 a month. for a service that you can get for 9 dollar at dreamhost for all users together.
