Amazing work. Been trying to do much of this manually, before giving up. Thank you so much! Edit: Tried using the Alpha-script but it stops at line 61 with this error message:
knight: 61 vertex 86 tris texture 64x64 for body and texture 32x64 for (sword + shield) i still need to learn :p especially on making textures for objects , this one was made in ms paint
@Jking3D and @Ambehr this is a direct quote from the Q&A thread ...It does not have to be based on a specific champion. Have fun and create animations that would match the animation style of LoL. (page 3 post #61)
Unfortunately lost a lot of progress with this guy and ran out of time in the end, but managed to hand something in for the deadline of the Artstation challenge. Link: https://www.artstation.com/contests/nvidia-metropia-2042/challenges/61/submissions/42800

http://www.gametrailers.com/gametrailerstv_player.php?ep=61&starttime=575 AVP gameplay. Graphics look quite similar to the older games... not sure if that's a good thing for gameplay reasons or bad because its been so frikin long since the older ones.
actually not insanely slow, there were ati demos shortly after nvidia's geforce7 pimped the feature. and those demos did the same with shaders, of course not "for free" like nvidia case, but not exactly super costly either. http://www.humus.ca/index.php?page=3D&ID=61
