Yep. If the flames aren't a separate object then detach it. You can also exclude objects from casting shadows in the lights "exclude" button. -

Polyboost... not... working... help
I'm trying to get some basic functions down with Polyboost. I'm trying to use the Curve tool the way it's used in the documentation and the 3.0 video, but nothing happens when I press the button. Help? Thanks. -
Anyone have a maya script that selects faces with no material assigned.
I would like to select a model, than click a button and have it select all the faces on the model that do not have materials assigned to them. Anyone written this yet? -

two things 1 : camera boom length determines how far from the player the camera is - moving it around will mess with pivots and break your rotations 2 : it might be an idea to explain all the things you want to happen when you press the button as well as all the things you don't want to happen. -

3: use the options button next to the bridge command, it also has bridge adjacent threshold that you can set higher if the angle is bigger.
