He looks very chubby and wrinkly at the same time. I'd really suggest just starting over and trying to make every line count for something. It's all a bit dirty and squiggly. Sorry if that sounds harsh, it's just the most direct and clear way I can think of. Try to render the simple shapes (sphere for head, tubes for arms)…
hey man! pretty damn good job. ou're definately getting better all the time. the head is still looking a little sharp in some places, or.. hard, rather.. come to think of it, i think the nose is the only reason i feel that way, perhaps. the edges are somehow too sharp, maybe? feels a little like the nose of a manequin…

Viewer v2 Viewer v3 Updated version for the casing of the filename. It should now be totally case agnostic. If your file still doesn't show up, then something is definately wrong. Please contact me or post here if that happens. Tumerboy: I've tried a file with the same name as yours and it definately works in the new…
awesome! played with it a bit this morning.. i do have a request, how complicated would it be to make a way to batch process files in crazy bump? similar to a photoshop droplet. we deal with lots of textures and now we have a shader department and it would be so useful to throw a bunch of files at crazy bump and have it…
use the Catmull-Rom filter if you're putting lights in the scene, make sure your textures aren't at 100 self-illum your metal texture looks slapped onto all the bars. looking at your texture - it is. take the time to define the edges of the sides - these might be a bit lighter, as they'd get scuffed and scratched the most.…

That makes me feel confortable with my idea and I project myself better this way. I'm pretty happy with this layout and lighting. Of course it will change but that's a starting point at least !…
Thanks everyone for the kind words and the great questions! Let’s dive in. Working in VR is truly like walking on a razor's edge. It’s a technical hell where every decision must be calculated ten steps ahead. Performance requirements (high resolution across two displays + high frame rates) leave no room for error, and you…
It seems like you're coming to some strange conclusions here based on a variety of sources with incomplete information. I would recommend reading the tutorials we wrote for Marmoset Toolbag 2, which cover general PBR theories as well the differences between the specular and metalness workflows:…
