Curently working on this tile, and i got a problem to make the bricks more rounder and kinda get clayed and lighter effect. Can anybody help me to solve this trouble plz (= Just a WIP, albedo rough and metalic isn't final
Since my preferred engine doesn't natively support Substances, I really couldn't care less. Besides, they aren't *all* grunge maps. 95% of the red nodes are fairly lightweight - Perlin noise 1, Brick generator, Moisture noise etc.
I have this node I made: https://share.allegorithmic.com/libraries/22 .sbs is included, so you can poke inside and see how I've done it. I do use a cell-like noise but with with a brick shape in a custom fx-map.
dzibarik - Thanks for your reply. I saw that brick example as well, it is helpful though I am not looking to make it manually using Transform 2D nodes. I also saw your post on mirroring using stripes. I tried that and while that works that method cuts off the the end of "planks" or "brick". I am after functionality from…
Make sure that for the grout you are using a mask in your blend that masks out the grout. You can also set the tile generator to output different luminance levels. You can then extract those luminances to use as masks for different brick colors and textures too.
@Dvids I think the height looks really damn good, the only thing that is a little off putting is the knots in the wood, they're very circular and don't fit the more oval shape of the wood grain around it. I might also try displaying this on a flat plane or slightly rounded cube, the smooth cylinder is really throwing me…
No problem share it only if you can :) . Your brick are cool it's just that I kind of like the strong shape you had in your previous version. Speaking about stone when you talk about jungle temple you are talking about that : or that ? Because I don't know why but those kind of lines reminds me much more some modern brick…
Love some of the stuff people have posted in this group! Wanted to contribute two stylized substances I created recently for a new environment piece for my portfolio! A stucco brick texture. A wood roof/wood panel. You can follow along in my new post!
I know that the brick wall has been done to death, but I needed one, so: P.S. Shot from SD viewport with parallax without shadows or AO. P.P.S. Would sell my soul for an in-depth tutorial on Substance from Hugo -Bugo- Beyer or josh_lynch.
Brick Rubble Substance. Thanks to Alexander Prokopchuk and his Spacing FX node for free here: https://share.allegorithmic.com/libraries/3424 More Substances on my Artstation https://www.artstation.com/clarkcoots or Crosspost from Substance Sketchbook:…
