Moof!!! Holy shiiiiiiit man! Your tempting me so hard with that concept, But I have too much to do - are you going to finish her up or is that her done ?? Cleaned up and polypainted my tribute to Danny Luvisi's LMS! I may or may not go back in for another pass at the hard surface stuff, time is tighter than a fishes…
Cheers man :) I usually get the poly paint in about halfway in once I'm happy with the forms, then it helps me pull things around and notice things I didn't in the untextured version but switch it off alot so to make sure the forms don't get washed out as you can hide a bad sculpt pretty easily under a good polypaint.
I posted this a long time ago when i finished modeling but things came up and I wasn't able to get back at it and finish it up. Well time has been good to me lately and I've been crankin away at this again. Just finished all the polypainting and retopping of this. very close to wrapping this up. let me know what you guys…
Thanks all! Both textures were made in Zbrush. The bricks and rubble were all sculpted as separate ZTools and textured with Polypaint in Projection Master. For the Polypainting I used really plain textures where I removed all of the light/shadow information. They were projected onto the bricks and rocks using the alpha…
Cool chainsaw, disting! This is from the Darksiders Art Jam. This is a render of my polypaint in Zbrush. I touched up a couple highlights in PS, because I couldn't get them to work the way I wanted in ZB. I have very little experience with hand-painted texturing, so I hope it works. It was based on this concept from Paul…
Hazardous, man, that is awesome. Sculpting for printng is something I've always wanted to play with. I like seeing how you treat the sculpts. Here's some more final polypaint on my LoL fanart of Evelynn. Done for now, but I might go to low poly later. Here's her original for those unfamilar:…
Nice work. I'd say it looks pretty solid in terms of the sculpt. One thing is that I'm guessing that the mouth has no depth it is just made to look like depth with polypaint. If that's the case I think adding some actual depth might make the face pop more. Other than that I'd mainly just say to work on some spec maps to…
Spent a night doing look development on a new character, playing around mostly with the face. I totally abused my body basemesh. Other than very minor anatomy changes and new polypaint, it's pretty much the same model, this was mostly just a focus on the face and attitude of things, see what I liked. link to my anatomy…
Here is something I started as a speed sculpt (Im 3 hours in) but I really want to put some love into this so Im gonna polypaint it and make a nice render. Its Brink fan art, and the concept Im going off of is at the bottom right. Just really love the art of that game, and I cant fight the urge to make stuff any…
hey guys! still working on the sculpt but did a quick projection+polypaint and a quick skin test inside marmoset 2 since the uv's were already done, going to end the sculpt a bit more on him to bring out some shapes that are not reading very well trough the skin shader and then finalize the head texture, i am thinking of…
