this is probably as far as i am going to take it.. after some great crits on my portfolio i have decided to work on more realistic subject matter and abandon the fantasy scifi stuff for a little a little while.. last update
model This is a planet to be used as a backdrop on a scifi mobile game. There are still a few texture fixes to make but i wanted to see what you guys thought. Its also animated but it was too large for me to upload to sketchfab. The clouds move independently of the planet.
As an FYI guys and gals, we've also just wrapped up SciFi Pistol Part 3, now available for downloads and streaming! If you want to add it to your library, don't hesitate to take advantage of our promo sale! ;)
Like everybody else said...the shape isn't very interesting. Just take a look around for the billion scifi environments on here. There are plenty of sci-fi pillars to see. Maybe look at some concepts for inspiration. Good luck
Wee its not that hard they just used way higher language to explain you basic Scifi themes dealing with time and space. Tho by the time they hit the 9th dimension i was getting nauceous @_@, thats some deep stuff
Haha and SciFi it is, but nice concept even if it wasn't in the voting thread. But its Alex that has the last call, so im joining this month. Nice with some foliage and rocks. Maybe with my own take on the concept, will start with a scene-breakdown tonight :)
I'm really enjoying this character! It's always fun to see stylized characters outside of the 'Fantasy' genre and overly-stylized SciFi is my favorite. The suit/armor looks especially nice, are you working off of a concept? Keep up the awesome work.
Unity's definitely workable, plus it won't undo the effects of your vacation. Here's a generic sci-fi corridor to try and convince you. [ame=" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a_O74nTYvcQ"]3d scifi corridor rendered in Unity - YouTube[/ame]
the big tube things could could use more polygons in comparison with the rest - they look to edgy. looks very promising from the visual style, I like it it has the touch of 70's/80's clean scifi (with white and brown)
Hey there guys, I'm starting a new project for university, and I'll be modeling and texturing a scifi vehicle heavily themed on early 20th century technology. I'll be posting here my WIPs, please comment and critic, all suggestions and tips are more than welcome :)
