That's essentially what Quake Wars did, Quake Wars only used that method for the environment, Rage supposedly uses that method for all the textures (characters, etc), though it isn't confirmed.
Can anyone confirm the no lag on this mouse? Im getting ready to buy a new mouse and would love a wireless but the lag and performance has steered me away every time.

also good suggestion when working on differnt thigns is testing out both unwrap methods. after you do a unwrap hit f6 or look in the toolbar and try conformal, or angle based unwrap i find conformal works better for hard surface mesehs ,when you want straight uv's

I can't get the U & the V channel on bsp surface to flip on anything other than than the default checkered material applied to the brush. Can anyone else confirm this?
